Guided guitar and theory course
The Journey
A step-by-step journey from your first note to mastery. Every stop teaches you something you can play today, explains why it works and gets you ready for the next one.
How every stop works
Every stop follows the same rhythm good teachers use: sound before symbol, playing before naming.
- 1ListenEvery idea starts with your ear: examples you can play, slow down and repeat.
- 2SeeNeck, chord boxes, tab and notation that light up as they sound.
- 3PlayGuided practice with metronome, timer and backing tracks.
- 4UnderstandJust the right theory at each point, a glossary one tap away and optional depth.
- 5CheckSelf-assessments and a milestone per stage so you know you are ready to go on.

About this journey
The journey complements the rest of the portal: the tools, topics and exercises are still there whenever you want them; here you get an order and a guide. Everything each stop needs is inside it, and links to the portal are optional reinforcements that open in another tab.
The order of the stages follows the consensus of graded syllabi (RSL Rockschool, Trinity Rock & Pop, RGT, ABRSM theory) and self-study methods (JustinGuitar, Hal Leonard, Fender Play), and draws on research into deliberate practice, spaced practice and sound-before-symbol learning.
